In March the children took part in FaceBritain, a national project that invited all young people in the UK to submit a self-portrait.The artwork will be part of a world record attempt and hopefully the biggest online gallery of self-portraits in the world. If you would like to view your child's portrait, along with the rest of their class please click here and enter Year 4 in the password field.

In March the class visited Cobble Hey Farm as part of their Habitats science project. As well as meeting the farm animals, they walked up through the fields to look at the wildlife as well.

In the Spring term, Alfonzo, the pizza chef from Guy's Thatched Hamlet pizzeria visited school to teach the children how to make authentic Italian pizzas as part of their DT work. As well as making enough for the class to try, they fed the after school club and a lot of the staff as well! Thank you to Guy's for their generosity.

During the Autumn Term Class 4's History topic was Henry VIII and the Tudors. As part of this, the children took part in a re-enactment day and created wall displays.
