Year Six 2016/17

Our Year Six class is taught by Mr Marle, with help from Mrs Pearson, Mrs Mower & Miss Shepherd.

Madame de Salvo teaches French and Mrs Gaughan teaches music.

In June Year 6 took part in Bikeability training, learning to be safe on the road.

In May the Class went to York for a residential week. They visited Jorvik, Dig, the Minster, Whitby Abbey, the Railway Museum and more! Mr Marle tweeted updates for parents and below are some of the photos he sent.
In March, the children experienced a traditional Passover celebration at St Thomas' Church with Mr Willoughby (Church warden and our Chair of Governors) and Father Stephen.
In November Year 6 took part in an architecture workshop, learning about structures and shape strength. It was a very hands on workshop and the children all enjoyed building structures in the school hall.
