Year 4 2016/17

Our Year Four class is taught by Mrs Reynoldsand Mrs Gaughan with help from Mr Baker, Mrs Cross and Ms Wood.

Madame de Salvo also teaches French.

In February the children had a Roman day as part of their history topic. The children (and staff) came to school dressed as Romans and made clay oil lamps and pizza as part of the day. The video montage below shows some of the great costumes.

In October, Year Four had a class trip to Cobble Hey to support our science topic, looking at the classification of plants and animals. After some classroom based activities the children took to the farm to find difficult animals and mini beasts.
Year 4 have been studying the work of Andy Goldsworthy in art and have produced some of their own natural artworks based on his work.
